Greg,
Our blank model BXCF1082MH is the same blank as the old SH1095M. It is however only available in black. You should be able to get this blank from any of our distributors or dealers.

Chris,
we certainly enjoyed having you attend the seminar. I think most in attendance left feeling it was worth their time. There certainly was a wide array of demonstrations and products showcased and you are correct, the camaraderie is always a huge part of these events. It is the love of this that keep those of us who try to service this industry here.
Hope to see you here again next year.

605. Re: Customer Service
Perfect examples in the day of internet business. You don't get this type of service from people that do nothing but fill orders or read the usage's from a spec sheet.

Tom is correct in the manner to put the sections together. This technique is what we refer to as a bayonet fit. I know at least this is the practice we use when trimming the sections to fit. If assembled differently then they would not seat as far.

Andy,
Fuji guides never come pre ground (unless your dealer does them). From past experience I would prefer this as some of the pre ground guides are taken down to much when received. Also you never get them ready to use anyway. When received the foot lengths in a bag of guides vary considerably.

Doug,
we do build a bass crankin' rod from this blank that is rated 8-20 lbs. The description's from the guys above are accurate in reference to the 1=power, E=action.

Peter,
I have to agree with all of the input you have received here. Until we came out with the composite versions of these rods I probably fished them 30 - 40 days a year. The 904 (7'6" 4wt) was my favorite and most of the time for 15 to 30 feet I used a cortland DT 4.

Eric, I believe the GSH1082HX would fill your needs. 9'0" 12-30 , 1-6 oz lure. this lure rating is a trolling rating for the rod built on it. I believe the casting wt is 3/4 - 2 1/2 oz.

Tom is correct, the resin system varies so the cure cycle will vary with each manufacturer. The materials we use all have the same resin system and cure at 250. There are some resins available that cure at very low temperatures (175) but in testing we have not been very successful with them.

Ray,
I think the blank you might be looking for is the Lamiglas Model Number "GSH902MT" this is a two piece blank but is also available in a one piece model number "GSH901MT"
They are both 7'6" rated 6-15 lb.

Eric,
we use the grip you are referencing from REC. It is a very good grade of cork and the photo depicts the actual product very well.

Fred,
the dates are the 8th, 9th & 10th of April.
We are really looking forward to seeing everyone there
Here is the post that Emory made last week.
The rod builders get together is coming together really well. There have been over 40 so far that have committed to be there but there is still room for more. If you are planning to come send an e-mail to Todd Vivian to confirm that
