Do most of you end up with uneven guide spacing when doing static load testing? Example, the guides are closer together at the peak of the bend of the rod? Or do you try to find a setting that'll have progressively increasing guide spacing as you move from the tip to the butt?

This is a great read as i'm in a similar position as the OP. Was researching a lot on this board on the benefits of when i should be using double foot guides vs single. And i've learned there's just so many factors and opinions :) In the end will take all this info and try it out and see what fits my style of fishing

I ordered two sets of ProKote thread finisher. Noticed in the second set, the hardener (part B) is yellow and has bunch of floating white stuff in it. I tried warming it up which made it flow better but still little bits and yellow. Any way to fix it? Read it may not look bad if i still mix and apply? or did i somehow receive an old batch or something? Right in the middle of my first ti

wow thanks everyone for all your helpful advice!! I really appreciate it. I did mix my epoxy very slowly and poured it onto a foil lined plate. No bubbles before applying. But many of you have pointed out some things that i believe will help me: 1) Don't brush the epoxy. Load the brush with more epoxy and let that do the work. I may try spatula as well just to see if it works for me 2)
