the 3 from the reel are the most important ... adjust the rest as necessary.. static test for perfect set up for your blank

You glue the tube hitting any and all area that you can... everything in between the ends (the cut outs) does not make contact with the tube (or larger blank).
The gluing areas will be different depending on the seat model. The video will make more sense when you have one in your hand.
The arbors that you place on the ends of the tube will be your main contact between the blank and the seat

Like Mike said... the Matrix is one of those hidden gems that everyone seems to love.... not only beautiful but also easy to cast.
Like Phil mentioned.. with any fly rod play with your lines and figure out the best one for you and your rod.

For a 10 foot rod and 4000 reel you cannot go wrong with the MicroWave 30 guides..
If the smaller ones suit you better, simply static test the running guides.

Sitting here reliving the past weekend...
17 years in a row... number 10 for me... Tom does an amazing job with ICRBE
Not now and never has been anything like this... so many builders in one place at one time.
The attendance was great, the reaction to our new products was AMAZING...
