I would recommend either the 18 or the 12 with double foot running guides... size is reel dependent

Look at the new MW25 set... I think it will be exactly what you are needing.
When you buy the extra running guides though get the smaller 5mm ones for the MW20

Good afternoon Dave,
I would look at either the MW12 or MW18.... the 18 will give you a little larger running guides but it does not sound like you need those.
As far as spacing and extra guides goes, that is impossible to tell until you start laying it out.
The set comes with 9 total guides.. I would get 6 extra runners just on case you need them
Let me know if you have any other q

The new sizes to fill in those holes are on their way and will be here next week! Unfortunately nobody offers a titanium top (other than titanium frame with SS tubes) but we do have the more durable TiON tops for titanium frames and our Black Diamond finish matches the Black Titanium guides.

Valentin,
Take a look at the American Tackle Bushido blanks.... there are quite a few that will fit in what you are looking for.
I personally would look at the SJ series.

Guide spacing recommendations come with every set of MW25 guides.
Kendall.... if you plan to use the rod in colder conditions I would use the MW25... if not the MW20 is a great choice.

Hey all... great questions....
MW20 - 1000-4000
MW25 - 3000-5500
MW30 - 3500-6500
This is a good starting point... you can also look at the rod length and use and consider bumping up a size... for example- I use a CB78/10-20 with a 3000 reel, MW25 is perfect. On my LS76/12-25 with a 4000 I have chosen the MW30 with SF runners.
Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any que

The rear of the Aero-17 is 1.10" ... my guess is the 1.05 should fit it fine.
As far as the hood.. not sure why you would want to switch but it should fit okay.
