Just ordered some yesterday and am very interested to see the large piece burl cork.
Going to be my first custom cork handle. wish me luck!

So if I understand this, it would make more sense on a 9' 8 wt. 4 pc fly rod that I'm building , to use single foot guides of some sort. There for reducing the overall weight
since I am gonna have more wraps due to the wraps at the ferrules. Or am I wrong?

As for the St. Croix it is model # 4F908.4 at Get bit outdoors. For $115. I wasn't sure I could post other sites info here.
I have a St. Croix myself and love it, but this is for a customer and they are wondering if the St.Croix is worth so much more money.
I haven't built any matrix rods yet and wasn't sure how they were. The customer pointed the matrix blan
