It' o.k if the line touches, as long as it doesn't go below. That being said I don't like when it touches either. If I was springing that much for a rod, I'd use as many guides as I thought it took.

The new website has some issues. Fuji WCS checks come in 2 sizes, 16 and 17 (I.D. optional). Instead of providing a size choice they offer a color choice when they only come in black. 4 phone calls and 4 customer service e-mails till I got the correct one. Fuji guides are also listed in unusual categories. I think highly of Kevin, but straightening out the site would help all, himself included.

The instructions with your finish should tell you how much time you have to re-coat without having to scuff wraps with scotchbrite prior to coating. If it's too thin give it another thin coat. Watch the Flexcoat videos. Most get by with 2 coats , some with one. You can ask Flexcoat they are extremely helpful. Not sure what comes with the all in one kit but suspect it may have been hi-build. Do so

I would think a 12 or a 16. I'd be tempted to try a 12 since there's no ring, But I'd order both. They should be fairly inexpensive.

No CP just thread and finish. Tried another spool today from the same batch, same result. At this point it's the thread, whatever the cause. And Anthony, I wasn't calling you out as to the source. lol Could'a been me just as well! So, you want the thread back or what?

Thanks Roger, this wrap's the only thing on the blank so far so not bad to clean up. Washed it with dish soap and water and rinsed it well. I think the thread's going in the garbage. I have a sister spool in a similar color to substitute. Just a funny thing!

Put finish on top layer of a tiger wrap. Pac Bay cobalt blue nylon. Stepped away for 5-6 minutes and when I came back to it spots, flecks, clumps of what I can only assume were blue dye were peppered throughout the wrap. The separation between the top layer threads over a lighter bottom layer made it quite easy to see. Had it been a normal wrap tightly packed I'm not sure it would have been visi
