You are correct Tom Kirkman. For those very first GLX Rods or Rod Blanks that were first produced, many years ago, it was suggested to install under wraps for the first 3, 4 or 5 guides, coming down from the tip. This was due to the very thin wall construction.

As stated, generally you can place the resin it in the microwave for about 15 seconds or a pan of warm water and it should bring it out. If it does not bring it back for the first 15 seconds, hit it again for 15 seconds.
