31. Cork Seal?
Whar is this expensive stuff anyway?
Does it extend the life of the cork?
Any alternatives to the $7 per 4oz or whatever it is?

I like the Batson HK17 [?] set up.$50 =/- for all the cork,aluminum reel seat,check.
The forward handle is the perfect length for an 11' rod, nice grade too.
Real seat is adequate but maybe a bit "cheesy"for some.

Hi:I`m going to be building some switch rods using Meiser blanks and Batson handle kits and hopefully sellimng a few designed for use on the Truckee
I`d really like to use high grade black guides so I can use lack of rod flash as a selling point. If I can`t fing anything at a reasonable price/quality I`ll use H&H strippers and snakes.
Ideas Folks?

Hi:I`m new.Trying to cipher all this out-Lrfty Kreh`s advise is the polar opposite of this "Minima" concept-I`m speaking of flyrods here-He like to use size 20 as the butt stripper to cut friction,I think, maybe wrap-around too.I`m gping to build some switch rode for trout in the Truckee River and a heavier stick for Pyramid Lake
Anyway,I`m trying to determine what`s best for my "
