You will like the liberty popping blank, I like a soft tip rod the blank has a nice tip and backbone down the blank. I build them for a lot of fisherman no complaints.yet.

I uploaded 3 photos of an old salt water bamboo rod to my member gallery. I would like to know if anyone can tell anything about the rod. Guy wants it redone I say leave it like it is. The rod is 6 sided.

You can spray the rod with super 77 3m glue, let it dry to a light tack then side the tube on and shrink the tube keeping the x straight. Then I put a wrap on the ends at the seat.
