Phil my shoulders will not handle it all day, the rod is for a friend thats addicted to swim baits. Unbelievable what he pays for some of his lures. He wants the rod around 8' and prefers a one piece rod. Bigger baits bigger fish at least thats what he says and he has caught some hawgs, several over 12lb.

I had a problem with two of the Aero seats not holding the reel tight. I called AT , was told they had a problem with a run of the seats. They replaced the defective ones, I have had no more problems with them. This happened last year. Thank You American Tackle for great customer service.

I need a blank for tossing top water to Yellow Fin tuna in Costa Rica. Any suggestions on blanks guides and set up? It will be spinning. I am building it for a gift for a friend. I think he said he would be using a 10000 or 12000 Shimano reel. Thank You..

I built a Batson XP904 with carbon fiber grips that floats with the new Abu carbon fiber reel. Total weight of rod with reel is 9 oz. I have looked at overboard rods. They look bulky and heavy.

Yes they have some camo patterns but not the Blue Digital pattern. I have called all the suppliers I know with no luck. I found some EVA in Blue Water camo ,waiting to see if that will work.

I decided to extend a 8' blank. The customer dosnt want to pay that much. I would like to learn more about using a fly rod blank for a spinning rod. I have never built a fly rod. How do you get line size and lure weights ? What is weight? Like 10 weight. Thanks for all the help.
