I had the k sun 270 and had a problem with it so I contacted Larry LTR group and he gave me the phone number for Epson. They replaced the unit with the PX800. It is a great unit along with the computer program. At the time Epson had a sell on the LW610 for $69. So I bought one. The LW610 operates from your smart phone App not as many options as the computer program. It is a nice unit for fo

I have also been dealing with Larry for years. Great customer service. Warranty outstanding no questions asked. Larry will help with the computer programs. He helped me big time just a couple of months ago on all of the above.

On the clear tape. I have 1/2" wide Black, White, Silver or Chrome and Gold letters. In the last couple of months I have put in two orders with Larry at LRTGroup.com and received them in the same week around 3 days.

I Second Larry's Claims. I had the 270 for 7 years and it made really nice labels that I bought from Larry. I had a little problem with it and Epson replaced it with a LW-PX800 like Larry said no questions asked. I also had a P-touch for all of the other labels around the house and boat. After I ran out of P-Touch tape I switched everything over to the Epson. I also purchased the LW-C610PX w

Thanks again for the input. I was looking for something that can Cast 3 oz. . The RX 6 MB 846 looks like a good set up and if a rod that can cast 1/2 to 2 oz will do the job that's great. I would rather stay on the lighter side. But my grandson thinks he likes the heavier set up. So I'm trying to meat in the middle. So I am leaning toward the MB 846. I agree about the Fuji trigger seats bu

Thanks for the input I thought I had it figured out and my grandson said that he wanted to try a conventional baitcaster setup. So I was going with the set up below for Bluefish plus an occasional striper in the mix. He tosses a SP Minnow 1 7/8oz , 6 3/4" long and other lures from 1 to 3 oz. But that is why I asked this question. I have never fished Bluefish and need all of your advice a

What's the best rod blank for this type fishing? Casting or spinning. I prefer a lighter blank I like to fight a fish rather than horse them in. But I know that's not for everyone.

I am going to build a rod for my Adult Grand Son who lives on the East Coast this rod will be for Blue Fishing and some strippers from a boat casting top water lures. He uses a Penn Fierce 2 6000 LL spinning reel with a 6.5 foot MH Rod. I live on the West Coast and only use conventional reels for Sturgeon and Strippers and Bait casting reels Black Bass. I told him that once he gets used to Conv

My son told me about 2 handed casting a couple years ago and I will never go back to 1 handed for casting rods. Along with Improved accuracy and distance is that you do not have to switch hands to real in your lure. I put my left hand on top at the real seat trigger and right hand on the bottom. After cast you just move right hand up to retrieve your lure. Simple less moves easier cast. My

I fish in Northern California and love Sturgeon Fishing. I like to fish with 7 foot rods. Our keeper window is 40 to 60 inches. But we also catch oversized up to 7 feet. I like fishing with lighter rods. The first sturgeon rod that I wrapped was a Super Seeker SS-CLB-704. It has a light tip and has some backbone. It's fun fighting a sturgeon on that rod. The other rods that I have wrapped

That's great another DC conversion. I love mine that Roger helped me design. 24 volt DC, alot better foot control, switch over from foot control to control knob for constant variable speed, plus reverse. With Roger's help it's easy. Once you figure out your parts list.

I just upgraded my power wrapper with a 24 volt DC motor, control panel and a Linemaster OHASAB-10K Varior Foot switch. Man what a difference more control with reverse. There was no way I could have done this without Roger Wilson's help. All of the articles that he has written on this subject along with personal e mails that we sent back and forth. He is such a great asset to this forum. I

I fish for sturgeon in northern CA. I use Calstar BTG 196-7, Calstar GF700XL, Superseeker SS-CLBF704 and Calstar196L -7. They all have a nice sensitive tip with enough backbone to bring in a nice sturgeon. I have caught quite a few sturgeon over 6 ft up to 160 lbs but most are in the 25 to 50 lb range. But if you are fishing fast rivers you would have to use a heavier rod with more weight
