This rod was built as a gift for a Special Olympics bowling Champion who loves to fish. Thanks to all who offered suggestions and a special thanks to Bill Stevens who made the decal.

What a great day we had! Although our crowd was a bit smaller we did manage to cause a few new rod builders to become addicted to this hobby. We had a small class to teach the basics of Rod building. Three men and a few kids went home with partially built rods and enough knowledge to finish them at home. One of the kids won a Rod kit which was donated by American Tackle and was very excited. Al

Joe and Gary, We had our 1st Ohio gathering of rod builders 5 or 6 years ago. I think Don Morse started Michigan rod builders the following year. After you had the first one Don and I talked about joining forces and having one half way between your gathering point and ours. It never materialized since we never followed through with it. I am no longer leading the orbs, as Don is no longer wit

If it weren`t for Mud Hole and the other sponsors we would not have this forum. If you do not want to deal with a business then don`t. Just do not publicly bash them or any other sponsor on the forum they help sponsor. Just sayin Bill
