Hi Tom, Tried on my work computer on Edge, still the same image I sent you before. It feels to me like I've got temporary access still. Have not received any kind of verification email. Is there a step in the email that would allow the upload button to appear? Kevin

Hello All, If the mods see this, I tried creating photo accounts. I can create the account, but there is no email to confirm registration, so I cannot upload photos. I checked all spam and junk folders, even tried on a second email address to see if there was a mistake with my first attempt. Thank you!

Casting or spinning? I see the most difference in the spinning guide set... others with more knowledge may know more.

Thank you, everyone! This has been extremely helpful! I think I'm going to use these brackets, weight wise they are overkill, but they look like they'll allow me to be "legless" in the front middle, I'll still build anchor points along the sides and front corners. - 29"x24" work station brackets. I'm going back and forth between building a proper frame or just laye

@Jim, Thank you! I've got the long wall and extra outlets already in place! @David, agreed! @Bob, I'm going to put my at more standing height, and get a drafting chair, I think that will better serve for comfort in the long run... adjustable height would be cool though... @Daryl, this will be overkill for me in some ways, but that's half the fun! @Robert, thank you!

Hello Members! About a year ago, I posted about finishing my basement in which I was able to add an "office" to the plan. This would primarily serve as a rob building/hobby room. I'm at the point now where once I get trim pieces on the walls, I can start the rod-building-focused additions! Mainly, the bench and storage. To those that gave me advice, I've got 50% more lights in the

I'm definitely still a novice as well, but a few years in, learning more every build You'll need to find your market. Not many people are going to want to pay $value for your first builds. Keep building, and keep sharing your work with people who fish. The biggest thing is to prove why your rod is better at "X" price point vs a rod off the shelf. So far, the rods people have asked

I'd recommend buying a kit first, it makes sure you've got everything you need to build your rod. Then after that, order parts. Nothing worse than looking forward to a weekend building session, to realize you don't have the right winding check... ask me how I know, lol.

So I'm a hobby builder with a dozen or so done and a few in progress. The biggest quality of life improvement for me was the track and stands when I went to the Alps vs the hand wrapper and free-standing "V" stands. The power wrapper is great for under wraps or longer sections, but I still mostly wrap by hand. I do occasionally shape some grips on mine which is nice as well, but
