is there anything you can add over the standard finish to also stop the yellowing? like what if I put U40 over top of the epoxy?

ive never found it be a guide that rusts. Its what ive been told a mineral deposit that builds up and forms that color. if I take one out that looks like rust the guide comes out clean and rust free everytime. so I think its something that just happens regardless of guide. Its just whether you use a color that it will show up on. its why I think 99% of production rods use black.

Im building a set of tuna Rods and I had the blanks painted white. My original plan was to do all white rods. White under wraps and overwraps on the guides. However Im nervous that even though ive never had my epoxy yellow it might, and im nervous about those "rust" deposits that form around the guide feet. So im curious what you guys think. Should go with some greys instead and if so h

id say 80% of the dealers I called from theyre site dont even stock them anymore. Seems like alot of guys are having a hard time getting them.

Hey guys any advice on how to do this before I break something? I got the 2 screws out on either side but having a hard time getting anything else loose? What Am i missing?

Hey guys. Im sure there are a ton of these floating around but specifically for offshore big game rods and roller guides what finish would you say works the best against cracking? Ive been told classics but Im not sure if I should try the pro flex or the high build or something completely different. Just wanted you opinions. Thank you!

I have a couple Winthrop terminator butts and my ferrules are pretty tight when I put the blank in. They slip on but I’m wondering about how much gap I need for the glue to be in between the blank and the ferrule. The inside of the ferrule has grooves inside of it that will help but what do you guys think?
