Hello
I just finished up a glide bait rod that came out very nice, thanks to those that helped with sizing the components. I want to start on my next blank, the NFC Neo MB765. NFC does not have this rod in their guide placement library, they do have 2 765 rod but the numbers are quite different and the Neo has a pretty soft tip so I dont think I should use their placement for their other 76

I just built a NFC 807-1IM and it handles a 3 oz glide with no problem. My buddy just built a similar rod but used the new NFCnNeo XH. Both rods are 8' and handled a 3oz bait but the NEO has a softer tip. This might be a good thing for a treble hook bait.

Hello
I'm brand new to rod building and have never built one before and I'm finding some of it a little overwhelming. I just bought a bunch of blanks from NFC during their black Friday sales, first rod I'm going to build is a swimbait rod, (SWB 807). Its going to throw glide baits in that 3-4oz range with 50lb braid and 30lb mono leader with a FG knot. The real confusion is on the guide
