Roger, Great Advice and well taken, I have installed an Air purification system Dust collector which definitely helps, also constantly vacuuming. When i try removing by a wipe of the blank it will just line up so i use masking tape to remove it. Thanks for the links! Regards, Mike

Hello All, I have a question about Static Electricity in rod blanks during the build. I have noticed during my builds that the blanks seem to be static and attract and hold any dust or particles. Question: How would you get rid of this so it does not have the static properties? Thanks for your input!!! Mike Morrison SaltGrass Fishin Stiks

Bob, Thanks for the info as I am aware of the selection at mudhole and have ordered several sets. I am just looking for something different than what is available. I really like the grips on the ABU veritas that are a lite grey color and some that come on the lews rods. Is there any way to get those other than stripping off of their rod?
