I am building a RodGeeks 804Xcomp. If I use a 12" but grip I have a measurement of 23 1/4" from stripper to front of reel seat. Or use 10" butt grip and have 25 1/4" to front of reel seat. Which one of these To choices are good? Oh by the way this is a casting rod build. Thanks for your Feedback

I purchased some Fuji Ultra Poly Size D thread and it seems to me the D thread is not as thick as others. I was just wondering if Fuji thread is just a little thinner then other size D thread. Used it on a 15/30lb Rainshadow Rod with Alps guides. Use a single wrap of thread on the guides and I am hoping it is a strong wrap. Thanks for your help, and Have Great New Years

I have a 10' 2pc Ugly Stik Gutts Butt Blank I need help for the Spacing for the guides. This is gone to be a Spinning Rod.Both the bottom and top piece of the blank measures 5'11/4". I don't know but I think it is a 15/30 lb class blank.Also what would be decent Guides to use and what size.Thank for any help Dennis

Want to remove original paint off of some E-Glass blanks and got some feedback to use Citristrip.My concern is that it said on directions on bottle not to use on vinyl, plastic and fiberglass . Will this product hurt the E-Glass blanks?Thanks Dennis

I have some old stock but new in condition reel seats i'm trying to identify. Reel seats have FRPS-22 on them and they are 5 1/16"long I know they are Size 22 but Are they Fuji reel seats? Thanks for your help Dennis

Dave I found a GBU 96-5 in a catalog and Butt measurement Is 0.766, tip 7.5 15/50lb class,blank weight 10-3/4 oz and it says Spin,cast, jig hope this helps you
