Hello everyone i got a question for building a 80-150# class rod blanks with roller guides and swivel tip. 1. What type of rod blank do you prefer to start a rod build with E Glass, S Glass, Composite, or Graphite? IGFA class? this will be paired with 80-130 tiagra or penn international or any other brand in this range spooled with Mono. Thanks,

Aloha guys, im new to trolling rod build and need some help finding out which is the preferred rod type for trolling gunnel mount with 80-130 lbs class rods with shimano tiagra 80's and 130's mounted and 130-150lbs spooled with mono. is IGFA preferred over non-IGFA rod blanks? any pro's and con's performance wise? Building rods with either bent butts and or straight butts. Thank you,

rixhard, speaking about triple wrapping do you use size A thread for the under wrap and size D for the double wrap? Is there a limit on certain types of threadding to use for these type class rods? And also how does it look at finish product is it bulky or in the guide areas with the triple wrap? Mahalo,
