I only use U40 Perma Gloss when I coat/recoat a bare unpainted blank. If you chose this route, make sure your in a well ventilated area.

I had the same issue a couple of weeks ago looking at costs to ship a similar length tube from Tampa Fl. to Huston TX. The customer declined to follow through with the order. Which I would have done also.

I use FC lite all the time. After I apply CP I let it set for about 24 hours before I apply FC. Haven't had an issue yet.

Travis - If you want marbling around the guide area, it is much easier to do this before putting the guides on. As far as marbling around the handle and reel seat, it is up to you. I have done it both ways and either way works. If your going to marble before gluing the handles and reel seat, dry fit everything and make marks on the blank where you need to add the marbling.

If you used CP, you need to put some back on the cutoff area, prior to adding the coat of finish. Otherwise you may have a darker spot in that area compared to the rest of the wrap

The two closest Pro Wrap colors using the Pantone color chart are 343 Burgundy (Scarlet) and 831 Smoke Screen (Grey)
