You can for sure trim them, I cut them with a type 1 aluminum oxide cutoff wheel works perfect. As far as the winding check not sure about size 16 but I know a Fuji wcs 17 check fits the size 17 threads perfectly with a little Dremell work to hollow out the inside.

Just got some seaguide ti frame guides, they look pretty good I haven’t got a chance to use them yet but they are nice. I had a small issue with one guide and the customer service was great I had a new one in just a few days.

North fork st 962 or 964 are awesome 9’6” always seems to be my go to. A little extra length is always nice for floats but that always depends on the size of river and how much room you have overhead to cast

Do you typically use light build on first coat then highbuild for second or the other way around I’ve been thinking about trying this but wondering which order would be better. My thoughts were high then light to just fix any imperfections of the first coat but I would be interested to hear from the people that either do it this way or have at least experimented with it. Thanks

Aleks initially on Facebook it was said they would come with arbor and cap what happened there. Could you tell me what kind of butt cap is in the pictures on your website I think it looks good with the grips and would still lik to use it.

I’m building a north fork st964 9’6” 6-12 casting rod for steelhead/silvers and trying to figure out what size guide to start with I will be using Fuji kw guides. I’m thinking starting with a 12 10 8 6 does this sound about right any suggestions would be great. It seems like there’s tons of info for spinning setups just not a lot for casting.if it helps I’ll be using a revo mgx low pro reel. Than

I couldn’t find the pictures from hitena. Might have to give it a try anyway I would prefer not to have to paint the blank. The guy I’m building it for wants all white with red and gold trim like a Rainer beer can. I think it’s a great idea just don’t want it to turn out gray

I don’t have any experience with the p touch but instead use the pearl label and had the same issues, I have found through much trial and error my best results have been to trim close to the actual printed part of the label using sharp scissors and they have to be sharp no dollar store. Then stick label to high tack transfer tape this I think helps pull of some of the excess glue that comes out a
