There will always be someone on shore by the rod to set the drag once the bait is dropped. Don't think it would be smart to try doing it by myself lol.

I'll have to check that magazine out. I'll be using it as a stand up rod with a lap belt.
I will not be casting with this rod. Simply leaving the rod on shore while taking the bait and line out 400yds with a kayak.

I'm brand new to rod wrapping and going to be building my first rod shortly. I picked an 8'6" jawbone blank. I plan on using Aftco roller guides and aluminum reel seat. I will be putting either an Avet 50w or 80w with 100lb mono on it, using for shark fishing.
How many and what size rollers are needed?
Recommendations on reel seats?
Best place to get any or all material? Expoxy,
