Instead of bashing a dealer lets try something different. Are there any dealers who can get product to NC within say 3-4 days that will provide customer service when needed and have wholesale opportunities? No, I do not make massive orders but I tend to be very loyal to your service. You can email me personally at smickel3@lexco

10. Special Kudos**
I have had the pleasure to meet a great many of the vendors and sponsors of this site over the years. All of which are great people and provide outstanding products for all of us and I feel there would be many stories to support this statement.
I would like to recognize Bill Batson and all the folks at Batson Enterprises,I have allways been able to get in touch with someone that could help with

11. Re: Almost...
I haven’t seen Bill Oyster since our first two shows in Charlotte. So I had to go over and talk when things slowed down a little. I checked out the butt section of the rod and at first thought it was lower but later as we got reaquainted I realized the price. WOW! Way back when I first met him I thought he was top notch but he is nocking it out of the park. The best thing is he is just a normal g

I too have had the chance to handle a genuine Tenkara and I reflect Tom’s impression of it. I even went as far as calling the manufacturer when I first heard of them but at the time they wanted nothing to do with custom rod makers. To be completely honest it is a very trim cousin of the "bream buster” with a much more tasteful look and a nice cork grip.

Normally I stay out of these posts but I can relate somewhat to some comments as of an order just recently. I understand well the shipping charges and when they are “upped” for blanks and large packages. In fact I just made an oder last week for some guides and my wholesale shipping charge was “X”. As of an email Friday that shipping charge jumped three times “X”. When you don’t even get a friend

Just wanted to say thanks to all those that stopped by the booth. It was great talking to everyone and meeting some new friends. To the rest of the vendors I hope you all get home with no issues and I enjoyed talking with you and picking up some great items. A special thanks to Tom and his Crew for another great show.

If the ring is dark black in a black frame they are Aluminum Oxide then just need to figure out high or low frame. If the inserts are gray then Hardaloy. I’m pretty sure they don’t offer gold or chrome frames in Aluminum Oxide. So if they are gold or chrome you may want to look at the other manufactures.

The UV finish from Cork 4 U is a great finish. Con: would be up front cost in the equipment and extra space for it, also getting an replacement bulb. Pro: it is simple to use and quick very quick. It takes a little practice to get used to it but so does everything. Also you can get a higher build very quickly. It’s absolutely great for repairs.

Several of us are close to home so getting torn down wasn’t to bad. Putting stuff up is a different story though. I’d like to say thanks to all the new friends made this year and all the old ones. Missed Ralph but he is hanging tough from what I hear. I wish Ken and Lana could've made it also Jim Upton.
If you weren’t here you missed some great deals and some new vendors with really nice

Being on the road these days I needed a dependable way to keep up with the wrapping work load. So I ordered the new Fuji hand wrapper. It came in last night and was put together first thing. I think it will be a great new tool but I have one recomendation, PLEASE send instructions in English.

25. Quickline blank
While finishing clean up mode in the shop this evening I took time to look at one of the blanks I managed to pick up the Show. It is a Pac Bay Quickline fly blank. I have to tell you guys it's pretty sweet. It has a great feel and a crisp tip and the overall finish is great. I really like how the ferrules taper down to the male section. This one will defintely see a lot of action this spring.
