We have had theft issues in our neighborhood so tracking issue has been something I have come to rely on, the USPS package tracking feature leaves a lot to be desired and with shipping delays I get from them etc I really never know with any accuracy when something will arrive. I have a love hate relationship with Amazon but you cant beat their deliveries with Amazon Prime

For over 30 years I have shipped things to and from AK annually, I never use USPS as I learned when I lived in Fairbanks in the early 80's it is terrible. It has always been worth it to me to use UPS to ensure timely and ensured delivery. I am using UPS in a couple weeks to ship some things to Wasilla, AK to be there when I arrive at the end of May for a hunting and fishing trip

Thanks to all of you, oops Phil I forgot that info. This will be strictly a bait rod and throwing 3oz max I would guess from my times fishing with him. The Avet reel is serious overkill for what he catches on avg but with getting out further he could potentially get into shark etc

Having not even recieved my power wrapper yet my son in Jacksonville wants a surf rod to mount the Avet LX reel I gave him for surf fishing the beaches where he lives.
