Hi Ron,
Thanks for the reply.
The blanks are L and UL and have a butt OD from 8mm( .315”) to 9mm (.354”).
I believe the ferrules would be larger than these butt diameters, but I should be able to fill up the gap with some epoxy?
Regards,
Peter

Hi,
I’m looking for butt ferrules to fit old style Fuji lews pistol grip speedfit handles.
Both ‘A’ and ‘LA’ types. If anyone here has some please let me know.
Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the replies. I've put up some pictures on the handles photo page of the 2 handles I have.
How do the ferrules actually work? Are the permanently fixed to the butt of the blanks
and pushed into the handle and secured by friction?
What's the winch fitting on one of the handles meant to do?
Lots to learn.
Thanks.

Hi, it's my first post here!
I've got a couple of old lews/Fuji speedfit rod handles.
I'm not sure how they work as I don't have the ferrule.
I'd like to build them so that the blanks are ferruled into the handles and can be interchanged.
Any idea what type of ferrule I should be using?
Was thinking of using a metal ferrule(brass?) that is meant for a mid blank joint but pemarnenlty fixing
