I actually had a bottle of u-40 ,,, who knew.. :-)
I tried it on one section between eyes,,, looks great …
Added wt is insignificant, these are boat rod work horses,
Scraped and chipped around the eyes and topped off with high build..
They’re gonna look sweet… :-)

Hi
I’ve got a couple FG spinning rods I built 6-7 yrs ago,,, they have spent 250 +- hrs a year out fishin salt water ….
I’m planning on rewrappin some of the guides and would like to give the whole rods a new finish,,, nothing on them now..
Looking for product recommendations for this ,,,
Hope to start this right after I move the 2’ of snow from my driveway…. ;-)

I have the height chart for Fuji guides and see nothing to 70 (+-) mm ...

Hi Folks
With all the info on this site from u pros I probably shouldn’t be asking about reduction train... but here goes... :-)
Lami GSB 120 1 L w/ 6K Saragossa , 30 lb. power pro braid.....
I decided on a KR build and after reading way too much stuff online, I came away with thinking I was supposed to use KL guides...
Well after reading on, it appears I should be using KL-H guides...

Planning on building a 10’ surf rod 2 pcs striper rod... 15 to #25 line, 1 to 4 lure...
I’m not much of a builder but have half dozen under my belt....
Looking for info on splits, I see different 50/50.. 30/70?
Is one better than another?
Any suggestions on material, make?
