The carbon grips made for the Sk2 casting seat will fit just fine. Mud Hole carries the one by CFX.

Hadnt had a chance to build a Point Blank yet. But, in the NFC line up I'd use the P704 or SJ703 X-ray. The SJ is lighter physically, has roughly 10% more power, and despite being a faster overall blank the tip section is softer on the SJ

Id give Roys Bait and Tackle a call down in Corpus and see if they can point you in the right direction. They're usually pretty helpful

I've built some of the Steadfast line from Thrasher and have been pleased with them. I will be ordering some Magic wands to build for myself when time permits. Jason is active in the communites and not hard to get a hold of if you have questions or concerns.

Personally I’d start with an 8 double foot the. Followed up with 2 6 double foots then the Rspg 6 all the way to the tip. The 5’s are really tiny and you will need quite a few to keep the line off the blank. Grab a Fuji Arowana ti sic for your tip top. Done a few this way and the customers have been quite happy

if you get some small surgical tubing, or guide foot tubing from MH you can cut a short length and then use a snap swivel and pierce the tube and close it. Tie a short length of string to the swivel and the other end to a paperclip. Then you can hang the weight from the paperclip. The tube slips off and on with no issue but will hold as much weight as it needs to

Make yourself a template from thin sheet plastic. You can find it at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Lay it out on an existing grip set or seat and trim it to fit or maybe a hair over. Turn your grips then lay your template over and trim/sand. The plastic is thin enough to bend over the cork.

I think they're just a small company. I read somewhere they have about 15 people working there and are producing something like 750 blanks a week and 200 rods a week. I can't vouch for those numbers but that's quite a bit when you consider they make rifle barrels, golf club shafts, and now carbon scopes. Again that's what I've read. I purchased a few sets of their grips last week and received
