Cord wont work as u need to put hand over hand to bring gaff in .. i do grips about arms distance if i was just holding gaff. About a 36” area bottom up. If i use cord i cover all 36” and then add 10-12” towards tip for second grip. If Eva i get a section towards butt. A section towards 36” mark and one closer to tip. Nothing to near tip to drag in water. Just enough to be able to choke up on gaf

Quick turn or 2. Quick 1-2 seconds. Then i turn rod and score over epoxy just to make an even line around Next i cut the thread On foot of guide blade facing towards guide cut over foot . I’m worried the acetone will eat up the glue that hold the bristles. I’ll try some brush cleaner. It’s not being cheap. It’s the waste that bothers me. Ive used up to 4-6 brushes in one day Crazy.

Hi all. Just wondering how you guys clean and care for re usable sable brushes. I find those disposable ones to be such a waste. I do bunch or repairs and sometimes just need to coat couple guides. Hate having to toss out all these brushes and cups. I have purchased some stainless mixing cups along with red sage brushes. Stainless pretty easy to care for. It’s the brushes that have me

Looking for any info on what motor i should use for a large drum dryer. Center shaft Would be square Tubbing with disks, using grip clips all around. Disk would have option to slide up/down center shaft.. And lock at position with set screw. Center shaft ends would go to round shaft that will then go into bearing on end. One end will extend past bearing to add HTD tooth style pulleys and belts.

I have the alps wrapper. Same drying motor. Only issue with it , is when i do a large hook gaff. Weight of hook wont allow full rotation. Besides that i like the reverse option. I usually apply finish under foot control. Allows for clean lines and faster application. Then swap belt to dryer motor. Or swap to a stand alone dryer.

I know you can place another blank up in there but performance will NOT be same. Maybe a more seasoned builder can chime in ..
