Some of your magazine articles are classics. Would it be possible to put a site on your magazine web page that your magazine subscribers could access to download some of those articles (maybe in PDF format) that are out of print? Or have a subscription service with a fee so that subscribers could access them?

Pete,

Those sort of things are possible but not likely. RodMaker has a full time staff of 1. Therefore things have to be prioritized and those things not high on the list just don't enter the picture.

Luckily, nearly all the articles are still available via back issues. I think I have sold out of about 5 out of 25 or 26 issues so most are still around. The thing to do is get what you need now, as it is not likely that they will ever be availabe in electronic format.

I also plan to run updates (not just reprints) of well received articles as we go along. As an examply, Russ Gooding has already agreed to revisit the Feather Inlay article by writing a new, and updated piece on the original he did for us a few years ago. That way we can keep current with any new methods or techniques and those who didn't get or see the original on the first go around are not left out in the long run.
