I have done a quick search but found limited info. Has anyone had opportunity to use the United line of blanks? I am more interested in Freshwater blanks. Bass, Pike and Musky hunters are my primary Clients. The prices look great on their Pioneer line and the contsruction may suit some of the style's I am looking for. I can't seem to find much info on their site either. I am waiting for a response from them on the construction but I thought I would ask for unbiased blank opinions from you guys. Thanks as always. Which blanks are you interested in? For the most part, the difference between a GUSA and United is the GUSA's are slightly stiffer, the Uniteds have more of a bend to them. It's not much of a difference though. Re: Hastings GUSA / United blanks

The United models are combination glass and graphite. ............. Re: Hastings GUSA / United blanks

If GUSA expanded their selection of Surf Blanks, I would wrap one for every surf fishing situation. They are light, strong, tough, their customer service has also been very fast to reply to my questions. I know you didn't ask about their surf rods, but I get a little excited over the GUSA's Re: Hastings GUSA / United blanks

Don - I've heard from someone not associated with GUSA (a rumor) that surf rods are in the works. They would be a huge hit here in New York. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
