They're fine. Nothing at all to find fault with. Re: forecast components

I am using Forecast components almost exclusively now. The only exception is if I need a Stuble reel seat for a high end rod or something like that. I would use a Forecast reel seat for anything I build for myself. The guys at Batson put together a spey handle kit for me that built up very nice and was a fraction or the cost of a regular spey set-up. Their graphite reel seats are as good as anyone's. I don't think you'll be disappointed with anything you try from them. Jeff Hunter Re: forecast components

The Forecast reel seat I got from Dan Craft is exceptional- on par with a Struble or REC in my opinion for $23! I don't have the model number handy but Ithen prefix is something like BULT. The lower end UL3 line are nice too, like the Pac Bay U3 only cheaper. Re: forecast components

The reel seat Jeff refers to is probably Forecast's BUL5, available in nickel silver, light titanium, or dark titanium finishes. They really are a sweet looking seat and price is about half of anything close to it. The Forecast guides are as good as any out there, and often much cheaper. It didn't take long for Forecast to be our obvious choice in components, and we demand the best. My $.02! John Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
