Gary Lafontaine passing

A note to all flyfishers and fly tiers - Gary Lafontaine passed yesterday after a three year battle with ALS (Lou Gherig's disease.) We can thank him for countless hours of research, one hundred articles, five books and likely hundreds of thousands of trout caught on his innovative and standard-setting caddis paterns. His contributions to the sport will never be forgotten. Cast one in his honor on your next outing.

Man I hate to hear that, he was one of my fly fishing heroes. I wish his family and friends peace in his homegoing.

One of the greats has left us, he is in most likelyhood casting perfect loops in heaven.

I can't help but think that God is sitting him down about now and asking, "Now go over that Theory of Attraction with me again".
