Since they are listed here as a sponsor I assume this is okay to talk about here. I have only been listed on the directory for about a week and a half. I also know that the site isn't even officially open and the info I got said that advertising and marketing of the site won't even start until after the first of the new year. But I have already gotten 3 contacts from it. Two look like they will result in rod sales and another one is already in the shop undergoing repair. Maybe a fluke, maybe the shape of things to come. It looks promising and although I hope not to many builders and repair people in my area will sign on I did want to pass along what looks to me will be like a great way to get some new business.

I'm glad you've had some early results. I am still in the process of adding new listings but won't get around to all of them until the next magazine production is wrapped up.

TackleWorks will be featured in ongoing advertisements in several prominent fishing magazines during 2002. It will be the foremost directory for fishermen to use to find rod building and related repair services in their locales. I expect it will see heavy use by at least early Spring.
