Made a skeleton trigger from Fuji DPS

I found a fuji trigger seat off a seeker rod that I was able to take apart without too much trouble and install a wood insert. Just starting to check it out. It is a Fuji DPS #20. The trigger section is molded separatly from the theaded section and a 7/8" O.D. cylinder with a recesed tip for the threaded part will fit nicely. Does anybody on the board sell this seat in #17-#20?

The Wiebe trigger seat just doesn't look like it would look right with a wood insert.

I don't think this style seat has been made in many years now. They are all one piece molded trigger style now.

The trigger seat you have is Fuji's TDPSM or TDPSD style, and I believe a 20 is the smallest they go. The smaller trigger seats are either TCSM, TCSD, DTPSM, or DTPSD. All four of these other styles are a molded one piece as opposed to the larger seats where the trigger/hood is actually a separate piece. I'm not sure if Fuji ever made the TDPSM or TDPSD style in smaller seats. Somebody that's been around for a while longer than I could probably tell you if they did and how long ago. I'd check with some of the ol' timers on this board as I'm just a young whippersnapper that's still wet behind the ears.

I'm not sure what you mean, but I'm looking at the Japanese market catalog here and there is a T-DPS available in size 20 and 22.

The trigger is moulded separately but it is one unit with the whole reel seat.
