Metallic thread

At one time Gudebrod made a very nice size A metallic thread. Then it seemed like everyone wanted to wrap guides with the stuff and so Gudebrod made their size A metallics larger and coarser. Personally I don't like it. My question is - does Gudebrod still offer the original type metallic size A and if not, who offers something similar?

Check out Fish Hawk metallic which I believe is imported by the Fugi people. It is equal in size to Gudebrod 00 nylon. Another plus is they have some different colors. I use quite of lot of it - have only tried the metallic-

I have some of the original metallic thread that Gudebrod used to carry. Let me know what colors you are looking for.
