Searching the archives, I found two posts by Lee Parsons and John Bratton, that describes Staples Wood Tone Putty. I tried E-mailing these two individuals to find out where I can buy this putty, but the E-mails came back as undeliverable. I am trying to find out who makes Staples Wood Tone putty? and where I can buy it? I live in Southern California. I am hoping that someone can give me a lead to tracking this item down. I spent hours making a cork handle and grip for my new rod. Unfortunately when I sanded it down to a smaller diameter, a bunch of holes appeared. Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, John Mantele Re: Staples Putty for Cork Filling

John, For filling minor pitts in cork, I like to use "Fix" brand wood filler, in the light mahogany color. Give it a try and see what you think. Harry Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
