Merry Christmas to all Rod Builders

Well folks, it's here again.

That time of year when we reflect on our accomplishments of the past year and look forward to new challenges for the coming year. Rod building is a never ending quest for perfection. The folks that frequent this site are some of the best in the business and their reputations preceed them.

This country has had a rough year. The tackle industry and the sporting goods industry as a whole has suffered due to the economy. Some of our friends have been laid off, others are facing the possibility. It is our duty to provide our customers the best product for them at a profit we can live with. As long as we do our part, this country will survive and prosper next year. Small businesses are the backbone of this country.

The rod building community is a big family. And, as with all families we have our occassional tiffs and disputes. At worst, we all come away with more information than we had before we started. At best, we come away with a new understanding or technique than we can use to better our products.

I would like to wish all of you happy holidays and a busy and profitable new year.
