Could someone give me the e-mail address of James Kastorff, a rod builder from San Diego, CA? I was so impressed with his weaves and thread work in the March 2000 issue of the magazine, I would like to contact him. Thanks for any help.

Sanford,

If you'll do a search on 'Holland', you'll see a response he made to a post of mine. Open his response then click on his name and you'll see his email address.

I've seen several of his rods and to me they're museum pieces. The pictures of his work don't do it proper justice... and what get me is he uses them regularly.

Hi Tom,
What is 'Holland'? I'm not sure whether it is a website or something other that you had in mind. How do I reach it?
Thanks,
Sanford

Hi Sanford,
Sorry for the confusion... rather than directly give you Jim Kastorff's email address, I was trying to show you how to find it for yourself.
You can perform searches of past topics/authors on this message board, and by doing a search on 'Holland' you would have found a post I made, and a reply by Jim to my question.
If you click on the blue/underlined author's ID of any post on this message board you will see that person's email address and Jim's email address was available the same way.
Again, sorry for any confusion, but as the saying goes, "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime".

I chat the most on the Allcoast Rodbuilding board and check the Rod Guild board occasionally. This and Allcoast seem to have the most info and action.
