Hello all -- I was hoping somebody out there would have the spacing for a couple of rods that my familiy members are planning to build today. 2 St. Croix SCIII's -- 7'6" 3 wt and a 8'6" wt. Thanks for any help you can provide. -Jeff Re: Guide spacing help for christmas

Jeff Go to the St. Croix site and click on rod building then guides. Go to the bottom of the guides page and they have their standard spacing chart there. Use this only as a guide as each blank will be a little different and can only be determined by a stress distribution test. Hope this helps. Re: Guide spacing help for christmas

Rolly's answer is correct.. Just remember that no two blanks of the same model act the same. Are you building a casting or spinning rod? Bob Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
