FUJI REELSEATS

I just got started building rods again. Over ten years ago I was able to get Fuji graphite reel seats that were wood grain finished. I no longer see them available. Anybody know where I could find them or similar.

thanks

Ed

Are you perhaps referring to the Fuji seats with wooden spacer inserts? These are still available. See the dealers on the left side of this page (Custom Tackle, Mudhole, etc.). Most component dealers will carry these.

No, a few years back over 10, Fuji had two styles of reel seats. The normal black ones and fake wood reel seats. I have several on my older rods. I thought they gave the reel seat the wood look of the more expensive ones. Now I don't see them anymore and my regular suppliers don't carry them anymore.

May be someone could update me on what happen to them.

Ed,
What you are looking for is the Fuji FPSD16 or 18 WG reel seats. They have long been discontinued -- I checked my old inventory and unfortumately do not have any remaining.
Good Luck!

What a shame they were nice looking reelseats. Anybody know why they were discontinued?
