I have been very pleased with two different models of their Steelhead Blanks and two different models of their Kokanee/Trout Blanks which I have used for walleye and crappie rods. Re: Stryker Fly Rods

No experience with the Fly blanks but have been very happy with their Bass blanks (particularly their swimbait blanks) and recently got some steelhead blanks to build a couple float rods for steelhead and crappie. Both of my orders they have turned around within a few days and no issues with any of the blanks I received. Re: Stryker Fly Rods

If they are anything like the old Rogue Rod patterns, they are a nice blank to fish with, many times they won awards from Alaska Magazine and others for their salmon/steelhead fly rods and gear rods for the same species. Like many awards they did not depend on new offerings only to compare for their articles. Re: Stryker Fly Rods

I have only fished one Rogue fly rod, an 8 wt. it fished very well and was easy to use, no learning curve needed to get good results. If I had to pick another rod series that was similar it would be the G Loomis reintroduction of IMX or the AllStar Austin series from years ago. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
