Quick feedback on wait time... I've had blanks delivered almost same week of the order and I had orders being the usual 4-6 weeks, I think the most I've waited was about 7 weeks so NFC did partial shipping on what they already had while waiting for the last bit.
For the past 2-3 months the promo have been back to back so I totally expected NFC to be piling up orders like there is no tomorrow. I had to do a bunch of RMA which were amazing customer service ! NFC is basically one of those companies I'd totally go and work for, but as Alex said... There are a lot of big companies in the area, I've visited the area a few times when I was at Google and drove by Woodland, I've met a load of Mech eng, Composite eng and a bunch of assembly tech in the Portland/Seattle area and even considered relocating through the company for a job out there. I can totally understand how challenging it is for NFC to hire anyone with a competitive offer in that geographic area. I'll rather wait a few weeks than getting rushed manufactured products that have quality issues! Also, with the market being flooded of Korean and Chinese blanks, I still find that I have an edge (no punt intended) when I offer a build with a NFC blank. I give q quick little story about Garry L. and how the "loomis" found in stores nowadays aren't what they used to be BUT NFC was born to keep bringing the greatness and I go on with my sales pitch which is just the story and reason I stand behind NFC's brand including for my competition fishing rods. I still buy other brand finished rods to see what's out there in comparison to NFC. Bottom line is, you simply can't beat NFC's pricing for the quality of the blank you get, there will be some options form other manufacturer but usually more expensive or almost the same price for lesser quality. There are a few blanks I like from other brands for very specific fishing conditions but it's 4-5 times the price if not more, I paid 12 times the price on two rods that I know were 100% coming from NFC's oven and re-branded and the customer service from that company was awful. I'll wait however long it takes to get my NFC blanks even if it was 4-5 months, I'd still be happy to order. I've waited 9 months for an expensive fancy blank from Spain then it snapped, 13 months later I am still waiting for my spare tip to ship despite 1 email every months. One of the only rod I liked in Europe which was from Korea ended-up costing 145$ per spare section. The owner of the company refused to order a few naked blanks to sell it to me so I walked away and basically that is why today I only care to buy NFC and keep a little inventory of blanks so I can fulfil those urgent requests of (birthday gifts, upcoming travel fishing trips) I no longer feel the pinch whenever a client breaks a rod on a guided trip, that alone makes it worth it for me to get the 10blanks discount whenever the email offer comes around. If I had to have confidence guiding paying customers on trips while carrying another brand of rod it would be costly to keep many spares on rotation, then given the lead time to get spares I'd just be out of business before the end of the season. Interesting... So many comments praising NFC and yet when I commented with some criticism a few days ago my comment was immediately removed. Should come as no surprise tho with NorthFork buying up all the major online rodbuilding forums. Now they control what is seen and said about their brand. It all seems a bit much when the alternative was as easy as picking up the phone and replying to emails once and a while! Re: NFC orders?

Bruce,
The forums are managed independently - especially regarding topics around NFC, we have no say on what stays and gets removed. I did look through our emails, messages, and call logs for your name and also your email address registered here. I did not see anything pop up. Feel free to email info@northforkcomposites.com or kelsey@northforkcomposites.com should you have any questions. Best, Aleks Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
