Finding the spine

OK...my first project. 4 pc, 7'6 4 wt. I've read that you should find the spine of each section separately...and that you should do it together . It seems like the first should be right...but which one is? Keith Re: Finding the spine

Find each section individually. Then after you have found it on each piece and have each one marked, you put them togther and check to see that everything lines up and the spine proves out along the entire length. Because of the stiffening effect where the ferrules overlap, you may find that the spine now seems to be a few degrees off. Remark to get things back on line and you are set. If you just put the sections together and then try to find the spine you are only getting a generic average of how much each section is off. Do it individually.
