Good morning,
I am looking to build a couple bottom bouncer rods this winter and need to find the right blanks. I am looking for blanks that are preferably telescopic, and the longer the better. 7'6" MINIMUM would like to see 8'+ looking for 1 blank to handle bouncers from 1.5oz to 3oz and the other to handle bouncers 3oz to 5oz. Looking for moderate action, these will be used in a rod holder and I need them to "load up" when bit. Both will be built as a casting rod likely with a tsuka2 or xo skeleton grip. I don't really have a budget now on them and would rather spend more on the right blank than less on something close to what I want and end up regretting Thanks! Josh Re: Bottom bouncer blank. How are you going the get a telescoping blank to go into an XO skeleton, you will have to buy the new XO+ and the blank will have to fit the 17 mm reel seat or smaller if you want to keep the carbon reel seat, not so sure the other gives you that option of a larger through blank design. Rainshadow Revelation telescopic crankbait blanks. 9'2", thinking one M and one MH. But you should probably confirm the powers. Re: Bottom bouncer blank. Telescopic, longer

Scott, If you are looking at the "-T" at Stryker to find a telescopic blank it just tells you it has a twill wrapped butt. Re: Bottom bouncer blank. Telescopic, longer

Just curious for my own education, why Telescopic? Re: Bottom bouncer blank. Telescopic, longer

In my case rod storage. Keeping the parabolic action ahead of the handle. Re: Bottom bouncer blank. Telescopic, longer

The above Stryker blanks are X Fast and designed to throw the bottom bouncer weight asked, not troll it. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
