I know there are a lot of wrapping threads, and each has a purpose. Being new at this I was wondering what thread holds its color best without color preserver? I'm aware of NCP thread. I see pro wrap nylon, pro wrap color fast, ultra poly it's a little confusing. Seeking Affordable Reel Seats for DIY Fishing Room Project

Former builder gave me some sound advice. #1 make sure your blank is gonna be around yrs from now. #2 whittle down your inventory to a handful of different "go-to" all around rods. If it sits collecting dust you lost $. Don't buy into having so damn many different styles of rod actions. That's money spent you won't get back till someone calls for it. Keep it solid, keep it simple. Figure out what works best for several different tactics. And just have those. #3 Better to have a known supplier of good blanks, that's been around and isn't going anywhere than to have a pile of good blanks but no longer in business, or keeps switching the product around every cpl years. #4 rod uppers break! That's just fact of life. Better to have rock solid lowers. That's where all the money and work it's anyways. Replacing lowers @#$%&!! You lose yer ass on that end. #5 keep your artwork simple as you can. Remember all that work you did? All the time, materials, and labor involved to create what you did? Yeah! Now think of getting to do it again, all for free due to a warranty issue. #6 kept it simple, but Solid. Special orders come with a price! It's 11/2 1st for the rod, 2nd for just incase, At least your covered. Get Ready for Tonight's Prize Giveaway! Enter Now and Win Big!
