Hello everyone!
I am looking for a blank made of two pieces for fishing zander with soft plastics this fall and winter. A two piece blank is a good to have but I might consider a one piece too. Small lakes and calm rivers are what I am targeting to fish. The jigs will be no heavier than 15-20g. 5 - 10cm shads, worms or grubs will be used on worm hooks, maybe dropshots and carolina rigs. It will be a baitcasting rod, already ordered the new 24 Metanium DC just to have it for the balancing part. Not sure here what would be better, to be perfectly balanced or to make the tip fall a little bit? So yeah, sensitivity is the keyword here. The most sensitive two piece blank there is out there, I’m looking for it! Also, there is no budget here, luckily. Thank you for reading this and for your time! I’ve yet to fish for Zander, but the idea of a double-sized walleye with fight is intriguing. Two piece rods really have fallen out of popularity here in the United States, at least in the middle to premium ranges. Salmon and steelhead anglers support them more than do bass and saltwater anglers. This might just make you in luck. The NFC HS 760-2(HM) could be as close as you can get to your parameters in our market. I haven’t fished this blank, and I don’t know how NFC supports customers in Europe. Will definetly contact rodhouse, it won't be first time I'm buying from them. Re: Best blank for zander fishing with soft plastics?

Most of the time you have to be on the bottom, retrieving in sawtooth wave pattern and touching it a little bit each time. So that's why I need it as sensitive as it can be. Andrei,
Since Zandar are really double sized walleye, just purchase any appropriate walleye rod blank - except make it about 2 shades stiffer and you will be set. I have built successful zandar rods before and find that a 7 to 7 1/2 foot medium to medium heavy power in a fast action do a wonderful job. Also, a lot of fishermen who fish the Ocean for Zander use rod s that are commonly called Popping rods. These are typically medium light to medium action rods with a moderate tip and are often used to cast Live shrimp to catch the big ones lying in wait off a sea coast. Zander fit into that category. By using a rod with a slower action as opposed to one with a fast tip - have better success in keeping their live bait intact due to the slower tip speed during casting and More time for the fishing person to identify a bite of a soft biting fish.
