I am looking at the Carbon-Tech Reel Seat Spinning [northforkcomposites.com]

And coupling that to a rear grip,1KEFXG3.73-2.0 Soft Touch [northforkcomposites.com]

I am not entirely sure if they would match the OD transition from the reel seat to the grip.

Given that both surface are a flat cut finding a ring to fit an look clean might be challenging.

Looks to me like those two components won't fit each other, give NFC a call, it looks like the back of the spinning seat may be Fuji SK 2 spin/TVS diameter.

I can't be sure, but an Alps TRS might fit the reel seat, but I am fairly certain that the OD of the TRS will not match the OD of the fat end of the grip. That open end, assuming it's foam filled or at least has an arbor, would have the foam exposed, so if using a TRS, you'd have to figure a way to make it look good.

I use a TRS between the reel seat and my rear grip on all of my spinning builds. But the grips are either EVA, cork, or carbon fiber skinned where the skin wraps over the end of the grip. I'll attach a picture so you can see what it looks like, and if it's something you'd want to consider as a possibility.

The carbon tech spinning seat is a size 16. The reel seat in the picture I linked, is an American Tackle G2 Apex. size 17. Alps makes the TRS in size 16 and 17, and is available in 7 different colors. VooDoo Rods on the left, sells them, as well as Get Bit.

Addition: The OD of the rear grip in the picture I linked is 1.06"

The NFC soft touch grip has an OD of 27 mm (1.06”) and is deigned to match up with standard casting reel seats. The carbon tech reel seat has an OD of 19 mm and thus will not match up with the soft touch grip.
