Larger piece of fuzz in butt wrap finish

So I was moving some things on my work bench and I accidentally hit the blank that was drying and it slid forward enough for my finish over the label to hit the crb rod stand with that Velcro like wear pad and several fibers got stuck in the finish, I plucked most of what I could out applied another coat to build it up, my plan is to stand the finish once completely dry to level out the nooks and crannies from me picking at the finish, as long as there is enough finish is this possible and will the sand marks disappear with a new coat?

Yes, to both of your questions. I've had to repair a couple of wraps that I bumped before they were fully cured, and I did what you outlined, and can't even tell they were ever repaired.
