Hi Aleks,
I noticed your email is hidden. Could you please email me at abehenderson@gmail.com when you get a chance? Its regarding a couple of NFC blanks that I had to warranty this summer...I just have a couple of questions. Re: Aleks Maslov

I haven’t received an email yet…just checked my spam to be sure. Already have spoken to customer support at NFC/Edge and the blanks were promptly warranteed. Just hoping to speak with Aleks directly.

Best way to reach him is via North Fork.

Think I saw something recently that made me think he wasn't in country, across the pacific stuff. Re: Aleks Maslov

I just had a warranty issue and it was handled quickly and professionally. In my opinion the NFC warranty department does a very good job.

If you read this thread then you know the OP said that NFC handled his claim promptly. He was attempting to contact Alex here instead of direct at North Fork Composites which is the better means to do so. ............ Re: Aleks Maslov

As I understand it, when you buy from NFC for a rod blank or components, you are buying directly from the factory. This is great, IMO.
That same factory is producing blanks for Edge Rods, a separate company. Raw blanks and component sales are another company for direct sale to the custom market. These two separate companies compete for product. Since NFC is world wide with multiple companies in the composite industry, the factory is constantly trying to balance production with demand. (The machine that makes high tech electrical conduit for its aero-space customers, or boat oars for the drift boat/kayak market, may be the same equipment that makes a fishing rod - but it cannot make both at the same time I would imagine.) Bottlenecks happen. Nevertheless, NFC has always come through for me. You MAY have to wait sometimes, and not always. When I take the scope of what they do in context, I am willing to make a value choice for me: I'll take a breath and plan ahead for the quality vs price-point benefits. I'm willing to deal with occasional delays to obtain their excellent products. From talking directly to NFC staff on several occasions, they want to please all of their customers. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
