The web site has a phone number, no e-mail address.

You really think the owner or his team has not seen this by now? I'd say little chance of that. But if he has, he's ignoring a problem. If he has not, he's deficient in his management. Either way, it doesn't speak well for the organization.

I doubt the owner has seen it here. ICast is a BIG deal.

Most of us that run mid-size organizations that are spread over a number of locations have spent the last ten days triaging and getting our teams up and running from the crowd strike fallout, in various levels of priority from getting core systems online to employees access back into those systems.

This compounds further when most of your senior team is at ICAST and unable to address the bug/problem remotely due to the nature of the issue.

Heck, even Delta had a complete meltdown with their IT resources.

Why must you be a jerk? Respectfully, pound sand - you and your opinion of my management, if you don’t like it - feel free to see yourself off the forum.

Also, just so you know, NFC doesn’t make a penny off of the forum/app/etc, it’s completely subsidized as a resource for rod builders.

For those that emailed in / Thank You - everything should be up and running.

Best,
Aleks

We will simple disagree on what good management is. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate the news that it's being worked on.

Let's see ...... prioritize getting your business back up and running after a major IT collapse....... or make sure you get a mobile app to access a free to use web site you own, up and running?

Gee ............. that's a tough one.

Sarcasm acknowledged. As is the name calling by the owner that would get me a time-out if I did it. A simple message a week ago that the problem was known and was being worked on would have ended this then. Would have taken 15 seconds. OK, your turn, guys. Make it good, because I'll leave this one alone now.

This forum has completely independent admins, including the founder. They are welcome to delete my comments, and have in the past. This is intentional on topics that concern me/NFC. I stand by what I said, it’s exactly what I think after reading your post and replies. It’s one thing to highlight that something is broken, it’s another to make it personal (which you did) - so you got a personal response, you don’t get to cry “foul”

On another note, you’re still here, so, something must be working.

Yes, I'm still here. If I got personal, I don't know how. I Will continue to bug you when appropriate, within the rules of good conduct, unlike what's going the other way. But I've probably bought my last NFC blank. While I really like your carbon fiber grips, the blanks have never impressed me. I can get along without your grips. I can do better elsewhere on blanks without getting insulted. Don't worry about getting the Android app back up and running. It wasn't that good anyway. It had many flaws. Of which I'm sure you are familiar. You seem to know everything.

It was obvious that rather than send a direct E-mail or make a direct phone call you chose to go public and get in your digs at the forum owner. That's HOW. Expecting a forum owner to sit and monitor this forum twenty four hours a day especially during the ICast week is a bit much. Maybe you have more time on your hands than the owner does. And now this last post of yours is even more of a dig at the owner than before. If you do not like this forum and how it is run why are still here???

“Leave it alone” is an idiomatic expression that implies leaving something as it is. Today, the idiom “leave it alone” remains an important reminder that sometimes the best course of action is simply to let things be.

To summarize, understanding the origins and historical context of the idiom “leave it alone” helps us appreciate its significance in modern-day usage. It reminds us that sometimes it’s better not to interfere and just let things be.
