So i am pretty new to nfc and building. Im trying to figure how they Measure the tip tops. I am trying to buy the tip top for the SA 905-2 Salmon blank and it says 5.4 tip size. And the other blank i ordered was ST 962x-2 stealhead blank and it's tip was 0.07 Which I figured out is a 4.5 size tip top. So dose that mean the SA 905-2 is a size 35 tip top? Re: NFC tip top size

One is measured in 64th of an inch the other in inches. Go to their catalog, all their tip top measurements are in the standard 64th of an inch.

Norm gave you the answer. The 0.07 tip top is measured in inches...when this is the case, multiply that number by 64, and you will have the number in 64ths of an inch. 0.07 X 64 = 4.48 (or 4.5 as you suggested). The 5.4 is already in 64ths of an inch. You can also go the other way....5.4 divided by 64 = 0.084 inches! Re: NFC tip top size

Just going to add. I suggest you buy a tip gauge so you can easily measure. It has been my experience that buying tips based on published specs results in a lot of extra tips (and S&H fees from having to re-order).
Fuji offers an adequate cheap one. Russ in Hollywood, FL. Re: NFC tip top size

Order your guides through NFC also and I bet they will send the right sizes in your blank tube. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
